România își pregătește candidatura pentru finala UEFA Europa League din 2028

Azi, la Palatul Victoria, a avut loc prima întâlnire a Comitetului Interministerial, consacrat pregătirii candidaturii României pentru găzduirea finalei UEFA Europa League din 2028 sau 2029. Acest demers a fost inițiat de Federația Română de Fotbal, potrivit damboviteanul.com.

👉 Participanții și conducerea întâlnirii

Ședința a fost condusă de Dragoș Hotea și a reunit reprezentanți ai instituțiilor-cheie implicate în procesul de garantare, alături de o delegație a FRF, condusă de Răzvan Burleanu. Delegația a inclus și pe Alexandru Cândea și Florin Sari, demonstrând astfel unitatea între autoritățile locale și federația de fotbal.

Președintele Agenției Naționale pentru Sport, Bogdan Constantin Matei, a reafirmat sprijinul instituțional pentru acest proiect strategic, subliniind importanța inițiativelor ce promovează fotbalul românesc.

👉 Stabilirea planului și obiectivelor candidaturii

În cadrul întâlnirii, au fost stabilite fundamentele operaționale ale candidaturii, fiind adoptat regulamentul de organizare al Comitetului. De asemenea, au fost analizate garanțiile necesare și a fost stabilit calendarul de implementare, conform cerințelor UEFA.

Prin acest demers, inițiat de FRF în parteneriat cu autoritățile statului, România vizează să readucă fotbalul european în prim-plan, având ca locație principală Arena Națională.
